    I have the leupold vx 5 4-20×52. I like it so far, cds is nice, good image and low light scope. Recently bought a vortex venom which is nice but it's definitely not like the leupold. Good luck and hope u find a black friday sale!!

    I will agree Christensen can have it's problems and we all have heard from others experience. This Ridgeline is slowly feeding better and I'm liking it more and more.

    Mine seems to be breaking in still. 80 shots and still speeding up. Feeding is getting better and accuracy seems decent.

    Ya I thought I would try a vortex out. Budget scope that seems to work great. My vx 5 was almost 2k i got this spring. This Chinese vortex was reasonably priced.

    Berger 180 7 mm at 360 yards high shoulder, touched bottom of spine he went straight down. My brother shot one 3 days earlier 162 grain eld x 28 nosler 100 yards 3 times before he stumbled 20 yards and went down.

    I recently got a 300 wby as well. I'm curious to see how it kicks, I have never shot a 30 cal. Scope rings came in today, so tomorrow hopefully I can get it ready. Used my daughters hair ties to check clearance yesterday

    Won this at the Rmef banquet!! Model 307 in 300 Wby. I currently dont own any 30 calibers , my biggest rifle is 7 mag and 7 prc. Wondering if anyone has shot this new model and had experience or if I should just Put it in the gun safe as a collector and pass it down to my Boy.

    Ya I have a 7 mag as well. It's another gun in my arsenal but this one has a better scope. Been fun shooting and trying to increase my effective range.

    Gun cleaning frequency

    Depends on the gun. My x bolt 7mm maybe has 25 shots thru it. Never cleaned it. My new christensen 7 prc I cleaned 5 times now breaking in the barrel. From what I heard it's a needy cartridge. Needs cleaned more often than your ol trusty deer rifle.

    My Christensen Ridgeline in 7 prc hornady ph 175 averaged 2870 with 26 inch barrel. I must have the newest powder in my lot number.

    Need recommendations for low budget binos

    Just picked up some Athlon HD Neos gen 2 10x42 binos to replace my work binos. I had bushnell ultra hd legend from 2007 that were $450 new. These athlons are definitely as good if not better than my old pair for 130 bucks.

    Ozark trail solar shower bag. Left on a rock for 8 hours sunlight, 90 plus degree shower. 20 bucks and under a pound in your pack.
