SE New Mexico Grouse
Hello! I am trying to get an idea of terrain/vegetation I should be looking for to find grouse in SE New Mexico. I was out there today. Hoping I get lucky this year and draw for the one they hold there. I’ll probably still put in for New Mexico non resident elk next year though. Up between Alamogordo and Ruidoso I saw them everywhere when we were flying.- DirtyMedic

Oh I am definitely waiting a little bit, it’s not as bad as where I was last year as far as the heat goes, but I still don’t want to go walking around out there!
