It would be interesting to see which made more money for the state: the sheep raffle tag or the poor suckers who didn’t look close enough at allocations and still bought a NR sheep app hoping for a random tag, or continued to buy points they will never get to use?
Buzz, why would you try to convince anyone that the reduction in NR quota down to 10% wasn’t the main reason for reduction in available NR tags? It’s literally just math, and provable just by looking at draw allocations from the year prior to the change? Why waste you time defending the change...
Solid attempt hahaha. The reason there was no NR random sheep tag is because you and the crew got your 90/10 OIL distribution passed a couple years ago! That was 100% your right, I never complained about it.
That’s pretty common for this time of year. Most people have their plans set for the fall or have spent all their spare pennies on applications elsewhere. I put in for a couple early on but have quit since the calendar filled up
Tags available in the secondary draw are a combination of unallocated tags, as well as tags that people turned in right after the initial draw. There are a lot of good units with tags available in the second draw due to turn ins, but unless you are a youth you won’t be able to draw them. Youth...
Exactly, they inundated the economy with liquid capital with no regard for the consequences, which are likely to become very apparent in the next 2 years
