Neighbors just shot one here. I about jumped out of the tree stand it was so close 😂. Otherwise just gray and red squirrels to keep me entertained. My wife is bringing the kids for a mid morning sit! That should be entertaining.- Bowmannate2000

.308 win bullet selection for new reloader

I did a separate trip in September with my archery tag. Had some really cool encounters, but nothing quite worked out. To have one last afternoon is a nice bonus. I'm soaking in the views and reflecting on all the ups and downs of this week. It's been a great hunt.- Bowmannate2000

I made my way to @Pucky Freak and together we made the approach. After about 30 minutes we see the first doe walking from left to right. We sat down and I readied my rifle. We stalked into a group of 4, but they semi spooked before we were setup. We spooked a coyote that went the other way and they ran off a ways, but are working back towards us.
