No, still haven’t gotten a black bear. Seems most folks cross paths with them while deer hunting rather than dedicated hunting for bears. I’m in a hunt club in NOVA and everyone I see getting bears is from a stand while deer hunting.- badkarma6

I was thinking about just ponying up and buying the Pelican case but I've also seen the Apache gun cases at Harbor Freight. They look very similar to Pelican but at half the price.
