Help with a float trip.
Wow all good options I really appreciate the suggestions. Keep them coming please. I was wondering is there a trip that can be fished in the summer and hunted (Deer) in the winter ? That way in the winter we have been down it once before.- Bowaddic

A friend of mine recomended the Boundry Waters as well and thank you for your service. Both my son and nephews wives are also in so we have 4 in the family in the AF.- Bowaddic

I'm Looking to take my son and two nephews on a DIY fishing camping trip in the west. My son and one nephew are active Air Force we are all avid outdoors men. We are open to anywhere in the US just looking for a epic time spent with the outdoors and family. It can be a float trip or canoe trip...- Bowaddic

Idaho Mule deer guide?
Yea he stated that they book up fast. I have never personally used a guide for hunting. I do know i don't care for going with fishing guides here in Florida. I guide inshore and offshore myself, i guess i just have my own style of fishing. I will pass along the information Thank you. -

He wants to do a pack in trip. I told him he needs to join the Go Hunt site. I would be a good place to start. I figured it cant hurt to ask on here. I did a DYI Wyoming Antelope hunt in October. Harvested 1 buck and 3 does. But i could not have done it without The advice i got from this site... -
Idaho Mule deer guide?
I know this is a DYI site mostly witch is how i hunt. But my sons pitching coach is looking to hire a mule deer guide in Idaho for the 2018 season. Does any one have any recommendations? I will pass them on. Thanks -

How would you hunt this area???
It's hard to tell from this image but I like to hunt pinch points to funnel traffic my way. When you get boots on the ground look for scrape's and rubs along open areas and trails. Sit where you can see a distance the rut is starting and you may catch one slipping. I hope you knock one down... -

Yes definitely have some great meat. I couldn't wait to try it so I cooked up some back strap down by a reservoir. It was awesome. -

Headed home from my first Wyoming Antelope trip completely DIY. Harvested 1 Buck and 3Does. Just under 5k miles Tallahassee to Buffalo Wyoming and back. It was a great trip. This was my first trip out west. Could not have pulled it off without the help and advice from guys on this site. Thanks... -

Just got into Buffalo last night. Planning on being here about 10 days or so. If I tag out early I will try to find a deer or elk tag here or on the way home. -
2000 miles in two days
Finally made it to Buffalo WY From Tallahassee FL. Now two days of scouting and hopefully some meat in the cooler. -
