Newest update: One overlooked aspect of drawing this tag was time management. There was plenty of time spent planning days to hunt and coordinating time off. Beginner-Mountain Goat Hunting
If you want to go on a goat hunt, just put in anywhere you can and hope you get lucky. While success rates to draw a tag are low, you might just get lucky. MT Mountain Goat outer layer suggestions wanted
I drew a Mountain Goat tag for southern Montana. Overall I have good quality equipment (Boots, pack, optics, etc).
