Maven optics
I have had the 11x43 B2's for about 5 years. 50% freehand 50% tripod. Great glass and I love them. My daughter borrowed my buddy's Lica geovid 10x for an antelope hunt so I was able to compare side by side. I didn't notice any difference and thought the mavens were just as good if not a little... -

Schnee's Beartooth Owners
I dealt with single digits this year and never got cold when glassing. . I was torn between the 200 gram or non insulated when I bought my beartooths. Glad I went non insulated.- Ducks

Retrieving problems
I did most the training for my dog but I hired a trainer for doing the forced fetch and she went away for a week. Worked out well.- Ducks

Flying with meat
I flew with meat on Delta 1 time and the cooler had to weigh under 80lbs. Mine was froze in a cheap lightweight cooler for 24 hrs and was froze solid when we got home- Ducks

Yet Another Vortex Going in for Warranty
I have not used Vortex but based on 2 sets of binos and 1 scope failing on different friends hunts when I've been with them I shy away from Vortex. -

Which rangefinder would you choose?
I have the 1200 and 2800 Leupold. Both have worked flawlessly. I like the 6X view when in the tree stand and I want to take a closer look. -

I've found several great uses for ground venison.
Add to that canned ground venison with taco seasoning. Great for quick camping meal that all you have to do is heat and serve.- Ducks

Planning for an Eastern Montana mule deer hunt
Does anyone have any information they could share on the effect of the drought last summer. I'm looking for something from Montana G and F. Also did it affect the pronghorn as well as the deer? Thanks -

So I have a question regarding reading the Montana OnX.. Am I correct to think that if a two track is a named road in ON X that it is open to travel on to access a piece of public? I haven't figured a way to turn on a layer that shows public roads. Thank you
