Just thought I'd get back to you. I did receive the money order for the balance from the buyer, so it's definitely sold. I'll be sending it out tomorrow. Thanks for the interest though. I also have a 45 caliber Seneca that I may be looking to sell one of these days. If you're interested, I...
Hey DJ, I got in touch with the buyer and he sent me a picture the other day of a MO he was sending to me for the remainder. I'm waiting for it to show up! I'll let you know in a couple of days if this is actually sold or not. Sorry for the confusion.
Actually I still have it my possession, but it was tentatively sold last May. The short of it is I received half the money then with the other half coming a couple weeks later. Well, after several texts early last summer, the buyer seems to have dropped off the planet. My last text to him was...
Now that I know what happened….nuke away….I still wish we had the original thread though….I’m old school….I like good stories and insight….tech savvy, I’m not! My boots have always done my scouting with me along for the ride!
You guys are so funny….I was actually serious! Now that a member pm’d me with the apparently final thread title, I was able to find out what happened to my favorite….I guess I’m going to have to start a “cat call” thread now!!
T/C Cherokee in very good condition. The stick has a few small marks and the finish is in great shape. The 45 barrel has been drilled/tapped for a scope mount by a previous owner and the mounting holes have plug screws installed. The bluing is in great shape too. The 32 barrel is...
Like you, I remember drinking out of what I thought were obviously “clean” sources and never thought twice about them. About the only times I ever hesitated was drinking from a duck pond near Burbank, WA after swishing away the top scum or the time I drank from a trickle emanating from a...
Need to see some more guns, so just to keep this thread going, here's last years Washington State buck with my T/C Hawken/.62 caliber Green Mountain barrel/patched round ball/Goex 2f/25 yd shot....
My 2002 5.4 V8 4X4 is still kicking along, though I don't put a lot of miles on it. I think it's currently at 155,000 miles and the biggest expense I've had was to replace the cruise control last year. It has been on some pretty sketchy roads at times, but like most 4X4's, mostly highway...
You might think about a red dot rather than scope. For 100 yards or less, it might actually be better. I have a Sig Romeo 5 on a Ruger 10/22 takedown that works really well. Food for thought.
The first (and largest) goat I ever killed here in Washington was in 1972. My Dad and I hauled out four bone-in quarters and the hide and head. When we got home and cut him up we had 100# of meat, 100# of bone, and the head/hide weighed 40#. That was my first head of big game and quite an eye...
Hey, I saw your offer to send photos of the pages in Ford’s book. I’d love to have the pictures if you’re willing. Thanks!
