Weather Advice - Not Sure How to Interpret Forecast
Good morning everyone! I was just wondering how you would interpret this forecast (below). It's for the closest town (to the west) of where we will be hunting, and it's at roughly 6K' in elevation. We'll be hunting around 9K' in elevation. I usually figure about a 4F degree drop in temperature...- TexAg09

Sleeping bag for alaska
Is that the only bag you currently have? What kind of temps and elevations are you expecting? I'm assuming some high humidity levels since you'll be along the river?- TexAg09

To hang bear bags or not to hang bear bags when backcountry hunting.
Just a standard roll top dry bag. Nothing crazy or expensive. I might add some reflective tape this year to make it easier to find in the AM. I usually hang mine a couple hundred yards from camp. -

It hangs with Bluebell, but we only get two Tillamook flavors down here and a bajillion Bluebell flavors(it's made a little over an hour from here) so maybe that has something to do with it.- TexAg09

In hindsight I think that might be easier, but the arrows I have are already fletched so I'm trying to not have to refletch them. -

Thanks for this statement. This was an issue before I spent quite a bit of time tuning my bow. I had three arrows that lined up correctly so I just used those exclusively when shooting broadheads. I haven't tried any of the other arrows since except with field points. I might try the others with... -

I'm sorry howl, but I'm not sure what this means. Can you elaborate? (In my brief 4 years of archery experience.) I have always just grabbed whatever glue was on sale at the sporting goods store. However, I've normally kept my shots to 30 yards or less, so the alignment hasn't matter as much... -

Howdy Everyone! Last fall I realized my arrows shoot best when my broad heads are aligned with the @#)(# vane of my arrow. I'm currently installing inserts with my broad head screwed in to help visually get the correct alignment, but I'm having a hard time getting them lined up before the glue... -
