    In another 20 years...

There will typically be a point of impact shift when going from unsuppressed to suppressed but it's usually very consistent and can be accounted for. Buy a $20 thread protector to put on when the suppressor is not mounted to your rifle. Or have whoever threads your barrel add one so it can be...

    Ladder test interpretation

If you're not seeing pressure signs, load 10-15 at 75 or 76 and see what you get for accuracy and velocity. Loading one round at each charge is a waste of time in my opinion. I know some guys like it but it's just not enough data

    Suppressor help

I didn’t realize they were made in Bozeman. My brother said he’s been selling quite a few of them. They’re a very reasonably priced option. I’m surprised you don’t see them mentioned more often

    Suppressor help

I haven’t looked at their stuff in a long time but the first suppressor I shot was an elite iron. It’s cool they’re in MT but I think there a lot a better options out there for hunting. I just glanced at their lineup and they’ve definitely lightened things up. They used to be really heavy...

Very nice. Definitely a cool area minus the wind.

"Now it's my turn!" -Federal circa 2025

Ah I was thinking you already had one were upset with the velocity. I was incorrect

"Now it's my turn!" -Federal circa 2025

That's fair. But just like your earlier post, I'm just trying to save some people some money and heartache

"Now it's my turn!" -Federal circa 2025

It's no doubt a difference but I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze. I think the innovation is cool but for the guy that's hunting 4-5-600 and in, I don't think it offers any real world gain. Chop a 7 PRC, 7 rem mag back to 18-20" and go kill anything you want in NA. I may change my tune...

"Now it's my turn!" -Federal circa 2025

If a short barrel and performance are what you're after, you need more powder. A .308, .30-06, and .300 win are not all the same at the same barrel length. A .300 win most definitely has a shorter barrel life that a .308 but good luck finding an average hunter that has actually shot one out...

Or you could just cut your 300 back and add a suppressor. Would save you a whole lot of heartache and money....

That’s what thread protectors are for…

    Suppressor

I guess you got me, it’ll add an 1/8 of an inch 🙄. Forget any of the brake attach models and go 5/8 direct thread. If needed, you can thread 1/2 or 9/16 and run an adapter to 5/8. It’s a non issue
  17. F

    Suppressor

This is really a non issue. If it has to be threaded 1/2, a $20-30 thread adapter solves the problem without adding any additional length

Sounds like instead of a press release today they are going to talk about it in their 2 o’clock meeting that isn’t posted anywhere as far as I can tell. If anyone is in the area and would like to join me I’ll be there to ask a few questions

We’ll see if they actually follow through with it
