Sorry about the late reply. With a 5th wheel definitely come in through Murphy Hot Springs. Lots of places to camp around Jarbidge, especially after you go through town. I may have given you some wrong info. You probably can’t hunt west of the Jarbidge road so make sure you double check. You...
If you want to stay lower maybe take the road to the east just north of town and try the Jack Creek/Dave Creek area. Great glassing up on the rim. But you’ll need a Jeep or side by side to get there unless you go up from Murphy Hot Springs. Or the west side of the Jarbidge rd around Deer Cr/Buck...
Yes the Cowboy has good food and definitely go to the military museum. It’s very well laid out and interesting. The sheep museum is good too. Good fishing in the Wind and several lakes around there. There are lots of bears all over the place.
I went cow hunting with my BIL a couple years ago...

It’s been snowing here on and off all afternoon (5100ft) north of Reno. The mountains have been getting it all day. If we don’t break the record it’s going to be very close.
Apparently I’m going to be the outlier but I have had very good luck with Mickey Thompson tires. I have had 2sets of the previous version of this tire and they have been awesome in all conditions and on the highway. Great in snow.they last really well too.
I’ve packed the 14x16 wall tent, frame, all camping gear, 2 kids, wife and dog in the Yukon for a weeks camping trip more than once. Frame and chairs went on top with a soft cargo pack on top of that. Coolers, stove and whatever fit on the hitch cargo carrier. The dog’s in hog heaven because he...
