Thanks Pete. This is my motorcycle tank with the names of every EOD Tech that I personally knew that died in the war. The bracelet was the most recent. March 2019
Thanks Idahoehunter. It was a hunt that I will never forget. The rapport with Randy and Michael both was natural and enjoyable. That hunt meant a lot to me.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
I never understood why people cover up the license plates in pictures, they drive around with them every day in plain site.
It might be a good idea. However, having just finished hunting in Nevada, I can’t imagine wearing black anything out there. It’s hard to shoot when you are passed out with heat stroke
So true about Randy. These pictures of Snoopy were on the wall where we ate dinner each night (it was the only place open). The night before I shot that buck; Randy said “That’s what Ray is going to look like when he shoots his buck tomorrow”. He was right on.
You jump it into a creek with a 10K 5th wheel camper attached to it. It’s glorious but expensive. I think that’s why he invited me back.........to see what other crazy mess I’d get into.
imagine my surprise/excitement when I got a text from Randy last month. He asked me if I was interested in joining him for a Nevada antelope hunt in August. I had joined him for his Bison Hunt in the Henry Mountains in Utah last year and it was epic (even though I did $26K damage to my truck)...
The waterfoul have a very thin skin and are easy to tear. The smaller the animal, the more tedious. Like that Fox was a challenge. So the input form the instructor about it being good meant a lot. I messed up my fish mount. That’s why I didn’t even attach it first. See picture. They said it was...
I’m a public land hunter that has never had a guide and will never have anything near this to display. That doesn’t mean that I can’t appreciate the life long persuite of a man that dedicated himself to hunting all of these animals. Yes it took a $hit load of money and had guides/PH’s along the...
Some of his stories are in Orvis and other magazines. He has told me some crazy stories about hunting in places like Afghanistan (before I went there to hunt 2 legged animals) with the warlords as his security/guides. He would keep $20K in cash to get himself out of a jam.
