Finally got the sailboat out in the ocean and caught some salmon.
Toco is almost 14 but still likes boat trips.

I've been using a Zodi for years and it's great but can be dangerous. Do not forget you can't stop flow even for a few seconds when propane is on. Scalded my leg pretty bad remembering that after skinning and packing a moose all day and was too tired probably to shower.
If you like hiking I would recommend hiking out to the end of Cape Lookout. It's a couple miles but very spectacular views. Often whales swim by right below you if you are out on the end.

I just switched from a Rip Cord Ace to a Hamskea Epsilon and it's working really well. The Rip Cord always seemed to have a little vane contact which really got worse with age.
Their numbers really fluctuate and the last couple times I've been out in the desert they have been fairly rare. 20 years ago you could shoot them all day long everywhere. I've seen the most down in the SE corner of the state anywhere there is sagebrush.
