Utah People, thoughts on this?
When it comes to corruption for anything adjacent to wildlife resources, I don’t thing any state is in the same league as Utah (wealth tags, SFW, corrupt outfitter free passes, etc). No way I’d trust the state to “manage” public resources.- YZF-88

MF’s tearjerker speech to the Utah board…and getting a pass pretty much enables this type of behavior. Observation: The supplements and workout programs influencers like MF must be legit. The lowest I have is 17032. This sucks. I miss hunting up there. I had a tag for 6 straight years now I'm going on three in a row with nothing. Since my new job is remote. Maybe I'll move up there. Sold out in less than 17 minutes.- YZF-88

Barnes TTSX 180 grain 300 win mag for elk?
I load my 30-06 with 165gr TTSX bullets. Definitely a fan. 4/4 on elk and 1/1 on deer with the setup. Really like those bullets. -

Wishing I had a little more vacation left in the tank. Would really like to be up there to help out. It’s my favorite area and the next best thing to having a tag is help with one. The last week of the season was always my favorite. Could always get into them screaming at some point. -
Hunting with spotters, cell phones, and blue-tooth headphones
Unfortunately this practice is legal and very, very prevalent. It’s a massive advantage for the hunter. You guys with Tacoma’s know you can seriously smooth out the transmission and improve performance with a tuning program like VF Tuner right? It’s a phenomenal difference. I had 3rd gen, went to a 2020 F150 and now back to a 2021 Tacoma. It’s very nice driving around town and OK for hunting...- YZF-88

Someone above mentioned social media and the commercialization contributions to point creep. I agree and think it’s way worse than we realize. Just look at the Muley Freak douche that has been convicted of poaching and trespassing more that once. He got a hall pass by whining to the wildlife...- YZF-88

First timer, Wyoming bound!
Congratulations. I’m in the same situation. Going to give it a go with archery equipment. Blind or spot’n stalk is TBD. Trying to find a resource for locating water holes and will take a scouting trip next weekend. Started reading up on scoring these critters and watching videos. -

Well that point creep was sketchy for sure! Looking forward to chasing antelope for the first time. -
Looks like tomorrow is the day…
I drew my first ever antelope tag. Barley squeaked by!!! Point creep went up 1.5 points. With 9 points, it was easily 100% draw odds last year....and went down to 40% this year. I better look but it's probably safe to buy the archery stamp now. -

The unit I applied for didn’t have any tag reductions but I do recognize many others did so those people will probably look elsewhere. Fingers crossed. -

Utah CC hits 2021
Great tag man. I have hunted it during archery, my 14 year old had the late rifle tag. Both were very fun...and we have two bulls in the living room.- YZF-88
