Get a STICK!! Watched the movie last saturday and from the first scene i knew it would drive the wolf huggers craaaaazy! the main character seems to be fairly ignorant for a professional wolfer(tries to fight wolves with broken airline bottles and a knife, hokey "bang sticks"), and refuses to...

The funniest part is that the blame goes on the scope caps. A perfect example of the 10% rule. Nice buck, good thing your buddy didnt have a wardrobe malfunction.

    MT hunt regs ?

the regs are referring to district/sex/species specific elk tags. I believe the report is referring to sub district drawing results. It is more complicated than it needs to be.

Over The Counter Elk - Colorado style

The best part about ATV hunters is that at least you know where the elk, deer, bear, antelope, bunnies, etc are not.

looking for great public land bull

Get on Google earth, find the steepest, nastiest, darkest hole that has water and feed. Make sure it is inaccessible by a normal human. Thats a good place to start.

    MT elk hunting is over,,,

I think we should spread the word that wolves have taken over the whole state, no elk left at all! awe nevermind, dont want to ruin whats left of the outfitting business. I just watched Cry Wolf and it got me all amped up.

    Rangefinder Wont Acquire Target ???

I had a Leupold that was pathetic at ranging even a truck or house past 500 yds. I bought a leica it will range a magpie in flight at a mile!!! well maybe not a magpie but it will range deer at over 800 yds. I am convinced that less pricey range finders are truly inferior to the high dollar brands.
