So I went with the Wicked Ridge Invader 400 with acu-draw crank system. Biggest negative is that they don't make a hard case for travel so I will have to take apart for travel. Going with gold tip arrows and rage broadheads. Planning on putting a vortex crossfire scope on it before I head over...
Hello everyone. So I've called all the hunters I know and have come up with squat on crossbows. Looking story short. Shoulder surgery on new years eve. Tried like hell to rehab before hunting season to no avail as I had a set back during PT. Leaving to Africa on August 3rd. I am in bed of a...
My wife and I will be meat hunting. Also first year hunting the area not expecting the world. Challenges are always good I guess. Maybe 58 bucks this year since my wife and I have tags.
Check out Rokslide I just got a vortex normally 2k for 1000 also got binos of there multiple times. The classifieds there always have a good deal if you wait for one.
Well relocating to Idaho may be in my cards, but I will still be hunting out of state. Nevada, California (lifetime hunting license), New Mexico, Wyoming etc. We shall see what happens. This year I am sadly staying home in good ol suckifornia. 1 deer tag in a rough and hot zone. We shall see.
I loved my last Idaho archery elk hunt, but that fee increase is a whopper. States need to increase local costs and stop relying on non-residents to pay the bills. All the states.
I'm new to fishing in southern California and in general for bass, crappie and bluegil. Anyone have any tips for fishing the latter to it would be greatly appreciated.
The wrong state thing is felt by many. My wife convinced me to move back to Cali and I spend my time trying to get her to move to another state. We shall see. First kid on the way so maybe that will help me out. Welcome to the forum. It's a great place.
Should be a fun hunt. I have had that trash in the past and we got both on the first day within 50yds of each other. Just take time and enjoy the new country and have fun. Nevada has plenty of antelope and you should have no problem filling the tags. Shoot straight and have fun.
I was kinda hoping that someone may have some sheds off of him. He is so unique that I figure there may be a good chance someone recognized him. But his sheds may be in a hole that no one goes to as that is where we got him on a late season tag.
Top right us my Dad's Nevada bull from 2016. Top left us his Utah bull from I think 2013 and on the bottom is my wife's bull. Taxidermy done by my Dad.
As the bull laid.
Wife's Nevada Bull Elk 2017, dont think i ever took the time to post on the hunt. Which was amazing and truly a one in a lifetime experience. I am so proud of her and everything she accomplished on this hunt and leading up to it. She passed on many bulls for 4 days before...
Dad drew 16a as well. We plan on being out there for 2 weeks. Good luck to everyone else out there as well this season. Will have a quad cab with California plates on it say hi if you see us.
hunted jarbridge on a late season hunt. It's hard and cold. There are many great zones in Nevada. Think hard what kind of hunt your looking for before you use those points.
