Some of the trade school costs are pretty expensive. Welding, Diesel Mechanic, etc. For sure not "free". Agree that the $156,000 for 4 years of college at a state school is high. The $101.54 Adult Nonresident Small Game license is a bit of a jump over the $1.50 Youth Nonresident Small Game license to apply. I've been spending the $188.86 on an Adult Nonresident Turkey license but haven't been having much luck at Turkey so not sure he needs to be getting a Turkey license...- npaden

I had forgot about just applying without buying the extra point. That might be the way to go. I might let him pick 1 species for me to buy him a point as a gift. Again, argue that employers should be contributing more into 401k plans. Argue that employers should not require as much of a match. Argue that at termination employees are required to put any 401k amounts into an IRA and can't spend it on a boat. I agree with a lot of what you guys are...- npaden

I quoted your post to point out a factual error. I didn't know what your main point was. If the main point was that 401k plans shift risk to the employee also note that they shift the reward to the employee as well. Risk = Reward. I would much rather take the money and invest it myself than...- npaden

ATV performance at elevation
Putzing around you won't even notice. Full throttle you will bog down. I have a 450 Yamaha Grizzly and it starts cutting out at full throttle above 8,000'. I live at 3,000'. I haven't ever rejetted it,I just put it in low range and go slower when I get at the higher elevation.- npaden
