    Oh, the irony!

You see that's where you and I differ. These lands we are talking about are my children's, your children's, and all their future (extended family's) heritage. Just because I won't be able to use all of those lands, or hunt game animals on lands in your state doesn't mean I won't fight for that...

Bowhunters - not a big impact?

Seens how lousy Montana reporting is how do we know what impact archery is having. I'm sure it is as 1 animal is a impact, but we have chit reporting so I'd really like to see up to date reliable data before I go off in some sort of direction. I'm ready just holding back. Same goes with "long...

Our leaders get away with it so there you go. Why do we have to follow "RULES"?

In Montana NR Hunters secured over 85,000 hunting licences.

I don't believe that all these tag sales are for bio's and wardens. We had a lot more of each when there was only 11,500 combo tags sold. Resident tags were far less also. There's money that the department can use and the legislature won't allow. This is legislatively driven. Who stands to make...

In Montana NR Hunters secured over 85,000 hunting licences.

Trust me on this. There's still not close to every Western Montana Hunter going east. Yet! I haven't been any farther than Far Western Montana in 30 years to hunt. There's thousands like me here.

In Montana NR Hunters secured over 85,000 hunting licences.

A real meaningful change (IMO) would be mandatory reporting. Details could be worked out simply enough, but the department (or others) fight this every session. Wondering why??????????

UPOM suing FWP over elk regulations

What would you say if I told you that there was a program that was set up by the state to do that very thing. Money from adding more Non resident hunters to the fields in Montana was put in a fund and from that fund the state was suppose to purchase worthy lands for hunting and Wildlife. Current...

    Project 2025 and Conservation

Buzz is mostly right, I've been fighting the "Good fight" for over 40 years now, and in that time we've lost 100's of thousands of mule deer, sage grouse that use flush from the roads in eastern Montana in so huge of large groups that they would bore you. Elk herds in Western Montana that wore...

He certainly has the right, (earned it too) to live wherever he wishes. I didn't know that was what we were discussing. I misunderstood that we were talking about him running for office to represent Montanans. The old Montana I knew would embrace such a guy, but never vote to have him represent...

My guess is he hangs more with Montana resident sportsmen than wealthy carpetbaggers pretending to be ranchers.
