My point was not that it was a small moose because it isn't! but rather that (I'll take it photo by photo)
1st photo: Hunter is sitting arms length away from the rack(Look at upper torso and left arm)
2nd Photo:Nothing to serve as size referance. Again NICE Moose nonetheless
3rd Photo:Look at...
Standard "Tropht" photos where the placement of the hunter makes the trophy look larger to the extent of being larger than life. While it is a NICE moose I would like to have seeen the shot with the rifle on the rack and or the hunter in the foreground to give a true representation of size...
Well lets see..... My trip to South Africa cost $1700 in airfare alone..... I guess I am above average and I havn't spend a dime on hunting yet here in the states :D
OK I have but that is a different story!
It's a tough shot and leaves a lot of room for error.
Think about how the organs are in the body and a shot from directly above is tough.
If you hit the spine it's over... but if you miss a little far back it is going to be a VERY LONG tracking job!
Also how are you going to be able to lean out...
trophy_killer,
Is there a "pro" shop in your area?
If so what do they charge for that bow?
If you are extremly bow literate then don't be afraid of E-bay but you must know how to set it up and verify it's condition.
If this is a first or second bow I'd buy it at a pro shop and pay to have them...
Fallow Deer are present in the central part of RSA. The Ranch I hunted had them.
I wasn't hunting them but would if I got the chance
Very Nice Trophies!

I returned from Africa 2 weeks ago for my second trip.
I hada GREAT time. I am a bow hunter so things were not great in the game on the ground department but I had LOTS of game within 50 yards just nothing shootable.(Thats what bowhunting is about)
