What is a great, long sleeve, early season base layer? Something wicking that I can add a layer to later in the year. Looking for recommendations. Thanks.
Looking into a rifle antelope hunt somewhere other than Wyoming.
Montana would top the list. Not looking for trophies just opportunity.
Suggestions are welcome via DM or here.
Just bought my fourth point. I think it's time to get somewhat serious about going.
Who's been? What were your results? What was unexpected that happened? Did the hunt live up to the hype?
Any best season to hunt? Must haves?
Thank you.
Sitting at 9. Won't be able to hunt this year so 10 points for 2025. Any recommendations for public land, DIY areas?
Have hunted Medicine Bow area once and was successful on a normal goat.
Here in West Virginia, youth season is antlerless only. Seniors can also hunt the youth season. Youth season is one weekend (pre rut)a few weeks before gun season and about three days towards the end of the year.
Currently, WV has a proposal to allow bucks to be killed during youth, but...
I will never be able to hunt. Mountain Goat but have a question. I'm a union pipeliner in West Virginia and currently working on 42 degree slope.
How common is that slope in goat country? How often are you on it during a hunt? Do you go up and down those slopes all day?
I have $4k a piece for my two children, ages 4 and 11.
I'm thinking about vanguard annuity or just a fractional share in Berkshire Hathaway. What would you suggest?
This isn't a college fund, just hoping to give them some padding in life. Thanks.
