Walnut syrup making
Decided to tap some walnut trees this year to make syrup. Built and evaporator from a stove steel drum kit and an evaporator I bought from amazon. I pulled my taps and froze the sap, went on a fishing trip. Will boil the sap this weekend.- buckbull

Hard water - need advice
Just got finished boiling some water and this is what I ended up with. Seems pretty bad. I ordered a hardness test so I can properly size a water softener. This seems excessive, even without a test. Wondering if I need some kind of filter before the water softener. This is city water...- buckbull

Giving up tracking??

1887 Winchester 12 ga lever action
