Just picked up the new regulations booklet. Noticed they took out the "drawing statistics" table section, that for years has been in between the district maps section and regulation section. That's frustrating... -

Father/Son Elk Hunt
My 13 year old son and I had a fantastic elk hunt over Thanksgiving. He shot his first elk (cow) on Friday around 3 p.m. in her bed at 200 yards with his 7-08, one shot. I just got lucky in the draw with a 39-1 tag. First time applying in Wyo., random draw. Not sure how I beat those odds... I am wondering if anyone has hunted in the area and might want to share some information. Thank you for your time. -

There is an article in the Billings Gazette This morning (Sat. 12/7/13). Titled "No Does; State considering no antlerless "B" hunting. A step in the right direction, for sure. But, years to late....maybe FWP is waking up.... -
12 Year old Son's Buck
This is a buck my 12 year old took last weekend. Had a great stalk and he did the rest like a pro. Seen a lot of one shot kills with that 7mm-08 caliber. He took a buck last year as a 11 year old that was also a nice 4pt. Fun times.....
