Saw my first one in the field during a NM cow hunt Jan 3-5. Didn't bug the owner for specs but from what I could see and deduce it was a Nexus in 28 Nosler with a MK5 Leupold...and it was very accurate at 500 plus. Good looking rifle, over the top materials and price.
It’s that time of deer season here when the rut has peaked and I didn’t really hit it hard enough. So I’ve doped the wind with doe urine and splashed some cover scent. The lever has been a pretty good luck charm. A wild pig would also work.
