Only use it early morning and dusk. Too cheap to buy batteries for it. I always carry 6 replacements, JIC. -

My 300 Weatherby Weathermark is wearing a VX-5HD 3-15x44 FireDot scope. Looking at picking up a VX-4.5-14x40 with no FireDot. Both have the CDS system. I’ll cut 6 oz right off the bat not counting the minimal amount for the rings. Do you think I’m going to regret making the change. FireDot is... -
Black bears spring or fall?
I went to Saskatchewan this spring for the best outfitted hunt I’ve been on. Lots of big colored bears, great outfitter and great food. It wasn’t cheap hunt, but worth every dollar and planning on going back.- elkhnter

Illinois 7pt on 11/2, gross was 139 5/8” Second deer I’ve shot this year with the Sevr Ti 1.5 Hybrid. I’m color blind and could follow the blood and both went less than 40 yards. So far so good. -

Well, it’s all coming together. We leave tomorrow at noon. Wish me luck with 2 first time elk hunters. They’re great guys and have a good attitude. Only stupid thing they’ve said is they hope we get 3 bulls down the first day. -

G5 Montec or VPA Three Blade
Go with the VPA 125 solids. Tougher head, not hard to sharpen and fly great from a tuned bow. -

Which slope to start with?
The one with elk on it. Start with the glass, then go to boots. -
