My bucket list consists of experiences with my sons and dad now. I don't have near the desire for my own hunts as much. That said, these are the hunts I would be most excited about but would prefer to have somebody else be the tag holder:
1. Dall Sheep or potentially some other Alaskan...
Ended up changing plans. Put in to try to burn my dad's points in Colorado. Put in for a 1st rifle elk tag which he probably won't draw and what should be a good 2nd rifle deer tag that he should draw.
If his thing is moose, I'd do that....if you are insistent on keeping one going. You can always have him keep applying and just not build points...
I would focus more on keeping building points for species/states he has a real chance of drawing in the future. I gave up on my WY moose points...
Was out shed hunting public land in MN on Monday. I walked through a grassy patch and up through some trees to a narrow field. 2 big gobblers were within 20 yards feeding. They had no idea I was there. Surprised I was able to get that close making a decent amount of noise and go unnoticed...
