Selling a lightly used Leupold Vx3i 4.5-14x40mm scope. Purchased new and had it on my rifle for less than 50 rounds. Been stored in safe. Zero marks on it. 30mm tube, varmint hunter reticle. $475 TYD. Will throw in a set of Tikka Talley low rings for $25.- HunterDan

There were a lot of hunters camped on the main forest roads but I never really had an issue getting away from them. Access is good in the unit with plenty of roads. I like to get as far as I can from roads and hunters so I backpacked in for 1-2 nights at a time as I moved around.- HunterDan

Not a bad unit, not too steep and rugged but there was deadfall everywhere I went so it made it difficult getting around off trail. only other negative was there was a lot of cattle and sheep grazing.- HunterDan

If I could draw it with 2 points again I probably would. Don't know if it's worth more than that but options are a bit limited for CO archery in that point range. -

Colorado unit 47 elk hunting
Keep in mind that 47 became a draw unit this year due to continued reduced elk numbers. PM me your area and I may be able to answer some questions. I've hunted the unit several times.
