Carnivore absolutely works for people I know on it. I saw a video just yesterday that made a ton of sense. It said for optimal health, don’t eat anything that wasn’t on the earth 200 years ago or anything that has a list of ingredients on it. Makes a lot of sense really. I will do going carb...
I’m sure there are a lot of variables involved in this, but is recovery generally pretty good in these kind of situations where sheep populations have traditionally done well or is it a pretty long recovery?
I love being able to get a breaks archery permit every year. But 100%, the amount of archery permits and the advancement in archery gear is the main factor with fewer and smaller bulls. Even half the archery permits issued currently is probably too much there. Should probably cut rifle bull...
Well, if internet reports are accurate, Colorado mule deer is few notches below Montana. But if you draw a good unit, scout hard, and hunt the whole season, you could have a chance at a muley resembling a mediocre coues deer. 😉
I think the incidental take from antelope hunters would be very minimal although it certainly happens. It seems that such a high % of rifle antelope tag holders hunt opening week/weekend and they’re done. Probably a handful of youth hunters killing bucks on the family antelope hunt most likely.
I’ve been a bit more encouraged about the potential for positive change in deer management the last few months. I’ve started seeing a few more posts on Facebook here in NE MT addressing the need for change and a couple smaller groups popping up talking about it more. I can’t help but think a lot...
I’m not sure how states can keep giving out the same opportunity that hunters crave so much without some sort of weapon restrictions(for all weapons). It’s either going to come to less opportunity or more primitive weapons opportunity at some point if this western hunting craze continues.
I’m curious to see what’s going to happen from a deer hunter participation stand point in relation to this in the next 10 years or so. I would think as infection rates increase, at some point, meat hunters will probably be less interested in hunting deer(even if they don’t feel there’s a chance...
Never said it was an excuse. Saying that it’s the truth. I didn’t hate on any Canadians over Trudeau even though they collectively voted him in and I don’t think highly of him as a leader either. I also take issue with numerous policies of both Biden and trump. I don’t blame them for being upset...
I’d actually disagree with this, especially since, if we’re being honest, there are probably things we hate about about whoever we vote for. I know a lot of Canadians and they almost all hate Trudeau, so I don’t think he represents them. Most all of the people I know who voted for Biden last...
People are losing their minds over this $10 shed hunting license. I hope they put a season for it too and watch people go even more crazy. And I like taking the family out for a few walks in the spring looking for sheds.
Just saw on Facebook hb 133 in regards to mandatory reporting being discussed on hunting Montana. After reading comments on that and numerous other wildlife/hunting related topics over the last year, I realize I have greatly underestimated just how little regard the average MT resident hunter...
