I've been certified since the early 90's and keep it active even though I live in AZ now. I'd say at least a dive a year to keep the rust loose. As for trips, the local shop here in Flagstaff does put together some trips but I generally just go somewhere warm that I wanna dive and hop on a boat...
You'll literally be in my backyard. At that exit your absolute best bet is Oakmont at Continental Country Club. The Oregano's by the hotels is atrocious. Not much on the East side of town, but downtown is only 10 minutes away.
Heads up 40 will be down to 1 lane til around 4pm for paving eastbound
Might want to toss a closed cell foam roll in the bag if space allows or a mylar type emergency blanket to lessen the heat loss to the ground. I put pine needles in a pile, lay a small doubled over tarp over that and put my Klymit pad on top of those. Works pretty well down to the low 20's with...
Thanks, I was set-up with a surgeon in Boca Raton but moved to Arizona before his schedule opened up. Definitely at the point of "have injury will travel" lol!
Speaking from experience, make dang certain whoever is doing the cutting is top notch; wherever you go for PT afterwards is the best you can get and does not force you to meet their progression goals but your own pace. Went through this same repair in 2016 and it still hurts to this day (labrum...
Been driving for coming up on 5 years, moved to a new town got a job right off the bat. It's a hassle to go through the process but a CDL is dang cheap job insurance all things considered.
If you go through one of these "training centers" do your homework, most just train you pass the test and...

I want one. Old lady wants to buy a house down the road out of town.
I could buy several broncos for that price. Guess I'll be waiting on the bronco :poop:
Access is good. I like the area just south from Bill Williams MTN, FR 122 and 108 by Dutch Kid and Jackass Tanks. Further down FS 44 has been a good area as well. Got a couple good stalks coming in on the 89 side south of Ash Fork during January OTC.
Enjoy, it's a good area to explore and...
As someone who made the move from SFlo to AZ (granted I'm in Flag so it's not low desert) there's no limit to what I'd do for water. If it meant camping close and hauling water or having a main camp and doing little spike camps in the area, that's what I would do. You can find springs but not...
No joke. Got stuck more times than I care to count or remember. Always see good animals over there, just never get the right number in the raffle.
Mind a PM about an adjoining unit?
Golf ball under the heel for about 3-5 minutes each morning, just roll your foot around with moderate pressure.
Ankle brace that keeps your foot straight while you sleep, this helped me a ton. Odd and weird at first but it works.
