I grew up just over the border from Myrtle, you'll do best to get a guide around Georgetown/Murrels Inlet.
State Line charters would be a good starting point.
Well that was an interesting race, it'll be fun watching this car hit different tracks and what new item breaks or causes an issue from week to week.
Did anyone else pick up a whistling noise on the broadcast when the cars were coming at the camera? Not like a turbo whistle more of a wind...
I'm in! Took a bit to figure out the bench thing. I'm fairly convinced I've got a middle of the pack bunch for the melee this week to continue my mediocrity from last year.
Not a bad ending today, happy for Bowman to break the streak of no wins for Hendrick at RIR. I can't recoup from the self destruct disaster at Bristol in the point, maybe a few of y'all could take a week off lol.
Flying back east in a few weeks and was all pumped to take my old man down to...
For one I can totally support some of the general season reductions, then again the grain of salt removes one of my favorite units from the OTC late December hunt.
I can't argue the numbers are dwindling, especially up on the rim.
@Dave N was the visibility better in person? Looked a little worse than most late model races I've been two but expected it due to the size of the place.
Best spring bristol race in awhile if I'm being honest. Not sure I'd wanna see it every year, maybe Martinsville next or an actual dirt track.
Thought so, but shows the roster was saved on Sunday night after the Atlanta race. No biggie, plenty of racing left.
Hope the weather clears and y'all get some dust in your faces. Pretty cool they'll let you stay for a truck race, granted it'll be late but maybe that'll help with the traffic...
Welp, I spotted y'all 4 drivers. For some reason my four alternates didn't go through and it reverted to my 4 from last week's "let's take some back markers to save starts" roster.
Oh well, beer will be consumed and meat will be smoked.
Tossed some london broil on the smoker today, little SPG on one and blackening seasoning on the other, pecan for 4 hours @ 225* finished last 30 @ 250*. Anxious for this rest to be over, curious how that blackening season turned out since it looked really good when I pulled it off.
Dang, I was hoping for practice at Vegas.
@Dave N did you get tickets for the weekend at bristol or just the cup race? I have a feeling that the truck race will be a demolition derby.
