Do you Hunt from a ground blind?
I set out 2 pop-ups this year, but never stepped into one. Much prefer tree stands or natural cover. I only archery hunt and in past years it just seemed like deer seemed to hang up at 50+ yds from the blinds even though they had been out for 3 months. -
How many days do you rifle hunt specifically for deer in your home state?
Voted a "1" only because there was no zero. Only bow hunt whitetails here in Indiana. More than 30 days of archery hunting normally, but retiring in a couple months, so that may increase. -

Tikka T3 Question
I have a 7 year old T3 Hunter in 7mm Rem Mag. Shoots fantastic for a $750 dollar buy. Stock magazines are plastic and there have been durability complaints, but I have not had any issues. There are some aftermarket metal magazines, but I have not needed them. I have had zero mechanical issues... -

CO Second Draw Question
Thanks for the responses. My application is in. Two years ago I took a bull in this unit. He was with 6 cows. They stood there for 2-3 minutes after the bull went down. Seen cows every time I’ve been in the unit, just never thought to try second tag draw.- oldillini

I drew a bull tag for 1st rifle season in CO. There were leftover cow tags for the same season and unit. Is it correct that I can apply in the secondary draw for that cow tag even after drawing the bull tag?- oldillini
