I like to go in on snowshoes pulling a pulk sled. I have a 0* bag and a hot tent. twigs work great for stakes. Remi warren has a pretty good podcast on camping in the snow. Definitely am looking forward to getting out in the Hot tent again this year.
If you want to mount them to your weapon system, yes you definitely need to check this up. In Montana they are legal. Oregon just legalized them this year, Idaho they are not, and I believe in Washington they are legal on a rifle, but not a bow (but I'd have to double check).
I have about 150 pieces of Winchester brass, but I’ve been buying loaded nosler ammo. I’m finding I can buy loaded ammo cheaper than I buy Nosler brass
Thanks. I'm lucky that I'm going to New Mexico to hunt elk this year, so it isn't all bad. Also, I have a kid coming in September, so it is probably a good thing.
I can cuddle with bears with my general tag. Don't think I need to do that with the special draw. I've been putting in for one of the worse (380) for 20 years, I'm ready to draw a bull tag. I've had a few years with breaks archery tags that's why I don't have max points.
I live in Southwest Montana and have 11 resident elk points. I am willing to travel. I bow and rifle hunt, but would prefer to use points on a rifle hunt. I'm 39 years old and can get around pretty well, but I am not getting any younger. I have access to an ATV, have a hot tent, and am not...
No, A tent that can use a stove to heat it such as the Seek Outside Redcliff or other tipis. I'm not sure I could afford a tent full of hotties, although it would probably be fun.
