When does your season start and where are you planning on hunting this year?
I will do the spring turkey bird hunt in PA. and/or WV. I am not just sure when it opens. I am also planning to do a spring black hunt with a friend in Alaska, from what he tells me, there are more black bears than hunters. That sounds good to me. 300 Win mag, 180 Nosler, your best loads?

Shad, I like the 223 Rem and the 22-250, I have one of each. I have messed with a couple 220 swifts and just didn't like the round. Many people love it. I feel the 22-250 is about as good as you can get. Be safe, have fun! deadeye2- deadeye2

Tumbling Brass
I don't know what kind of tumbler mine is, I have had it 16 years. I use the walnut hulls with jewlers rouge in it. I wipe the out side clean and pick the little pieces out of the primer pockets as I clean them. I never clean the inside or anything like that. I have never had a misfire in the...- deadeye2

reg. primers vs. mag. primers?
I agree with wds, if you are showing no presure signs you are most likely O.K. with this little boo, boo. One thing you might want to watch for is presure if the Tempreture goes up/down, like from 60 up 100, that will some times change things. Be sfe, have fun! deadeye2- deadeye2

.223 loads
Hi Calf. Hunter, I find the 223 easy to load for and a lot of different mixs will work very well. I have a Kimber 84L that loves the 55 Rem H.P.s with 22.0 grs of IMR4198 and a 71/2 Rem match primer.
