    Bear season update

    Tobey, You been using any new hounds? Just wondering if your gettin a chanch to be able to see if they are gonna work out for ya. Shoot I haven't even had a chance to go bear hunting this fall. Shoulda left my dogs at Gatomans house last spring......then they would have kept a little sore footed...

    Getting ready for hide season???

    In Utah you can also hunt them year round......without a license :D :D Fish and game want them outta here. To hard on whats left of the pheasant population.

    George, Man thats unreal. Our coyotes out here are pretty shy. Almost everyone of us rednecks carry a gun around with us :D :D The season here is " There is no season" LOL. Its an all you can shoot deal. That would be pretty wild.

    Dawgin'it, Talmage is north of Duchesne about 20 miles. The base of the Uinta Mtns.

    C.C. My first dog was a Plott-walker cross. He wasn't the best or the worst just an average hound. I got started by hunting with a guy that hunted Plotts. We went coon hunting alot and then I made the mistake of going Lion hunting.....since then I've been hooked. I (cross my fingers) have not...

    I never have personally, but I saw some pictures that a friend of mine took (using a motion sensor camera) and he had some awsome pics. Didn't seem to bother anything. He even had pics of coons raiding his bait :D :D

    California Coyotes, The best time here as far as I'm concerned is Jan. Usually better snow conditions ( not that they can't be caught without snow) but it sure makes tracking alot easier. George P....send me your e-mail addy if you will....thanx
