Actually the lack of sleep is back on....I located a smoker of a whitetail for rifle season while out scouting last night.....I didn't get to see a lot of him, but know he's got great width and TONS of mass......that's what stood out to me the most, was the mass......I couldn't get over... -

Thanks again guys for all of the kind words.......I don't know if I posted this yet, but we did stick a tape to him, and he is gonna gross right at 160" Main beams are 23 and 24", inside spread is just shy of 19", G2s and 3s are all over 8", g4's are over 6, brows are right at 5"...over 5" of... -

I really have no idea......I've been dedicating so much time and efforts towards this one buck, that Rifle season was the furthest thing from my mind. I drew in a different unit, so I've got to get some cams put out, and try to locate something decent in the next 2 weeks......doesnt' leave me... -

Hey Greg...did you here about the Whitey Freak taken down by the rifle range south of Bis. ???? Supposed to be a 7x7 with moose like mass.....I heard it scored 135 WITHOUT any tine length measurements ?!?!? Suppose to gross in the 200" range........:eek: -

That's right......I make it a habit to always have a couple of wood posts in the back of my pickup......if I get to a place that doesn't have a couple trees to hang a camera on, I dig in my own posts......the majority of the pics I have of this one particular buck, are all from a camera mounted... -

Those are great picks, and I think you did right by passing, so early in the season......I do get pretty particular myself, sometimes going with an empty tag for the season......other times my trigger finger overcomes my self-discipline, LOL.......good luck this season and hope you find the one... -

Actually several of us have sat down while looking at all of the different angles of him......these last ones aren't very good indications of his size......he's got great tine length, good brows and mass....and wide with several kickers.......we all figure he should go in the 160's......and just... -

He's a real high-racked 8-point....he's got tons of potential.....looks to be about 2.5 to 3 years old......I've got probably around 25-30 pics of him, that i am gonna keep just to track his progress.....hope he makes it through at least this year......I'll try to get a couple of him posted up... -

He definitely ain't camera shy, Greg......as of yesterday's batch, I now have 173 pics of him.....and he is squeeking ever closer to daylight during the evening, catching him in several pics at around 7:30pm:) I'll post some new pics tonight.....
