Date for Starting Bait...
Virt, First find out what is legal in your states. Some states have restrictions on when you can start baiting and some don't. The sooner you can start i have found the best. I would allow at least a week but if you have a long season a week may be alright if you have the time to spare hunting...- Terry aka Coydog

Check the wdfw web site boys. The draw reults are in. We didnt draw elk so I guess its spikes only for us. My son drew the Mission youth hunt for deer. Yahoo!!!! He'll get a deer for sure. Wyoming Deer/Antelope draw is out !!
I got good news and bad news :confused: The good news is I drew a Region D deer taq and the bad news is my son didn't draw. What do you use for bait?
They outlawed our baiting(anit-hunting arseholes) a few years ago but I used to do a lot of it. Grew up baiting with my granddad and dad. DKO, anise/vanilla extract works wonders to get em going.
