    What’s the perfect big game arrow setup?

    shooting a 60lb bow with a 31.5" draw. I'm using Gold Tip Hunter XTs 250 spine with 50gr inserts and 100gr heads which is about 12% FOC. Total arrow weight of about 528gr flying 275fps. First time using this set up so hope to report back this fall!

    If I only knew this when I first started backpacking....

    I tried activating some large handwarmers before bed, and once they were warm i threw them inside my boots and then stuffed my socks in the top. They were still pretty stiff from the outside but not frozen all the way through to the inside by morning. This was in single digits with no stove / fire.

    I'm 6'6" 250, length was perfect, it's just more snug around my shoulders than I prefer. I can fit in it just fine, just prefer a little more room inside.
