Nut,
You were born? Danged Moosie lied to me then, he told me you were hatched...
The top picture is the exit hole. If you look at the bottom of the top picture you can see where the bullet exited the hide (shown from the underside of the hide).
The bottom picture is the entry hole. The bullet entered the leg just above a mans hand. Damage can be seen under the leg (above...
Moosie told me he wanted pictures of the hog I killed using my new bullets.
Below are the entry and exit holes on the 250lb hog I shot using my 7mm mag and 127gr EXP Groove Bullet. The entry hole was actually in the leg. The damage done behind/under the leg can be seen in the photo. The exit...
Parts,
First things first. As to the "stirring" the pot, I learned that from Moosie, LMAO
There are certain tests and standards that are used to ensure as close to the same material time after time. As we all know, nothing is exact. Standards and tests are in place to maintain quality...
Bigtusker,
My head and cape are now at the taxidermist. As soon as I get the mount back I will take pics, scan them and post them.
Have a good one,
Don
Danr,
The ogive on my 25 caliber bullet is almsot 15. I have yet to calculate the BC. Based on data thus far it will be extremely high.
If the 25 cal bullet can in fact be driven at 4000 FPS and maintain 1/2 MOA accuracy then we should be able to obtain the plus or minus 3 1/2" we are after...
Nut,
Yes, Dave is standing to my left (right as you look at the picture). Jim has some major back problems and wasn't able to hunt but I just love the little guy so much we had to have him there.
Tom,
Yes, my bullets are designed and made for penetration. A lot of people don't consider a hog...
( That translates to 3.5 inches high at 100 yards and 3.5 inches low at 550 yards. Am I reading you correctly?)
Danr,
I would think he would be looking at a zero at around midway or slightly past midway. Perhaps around the 300 to 350 yard mark. Meaning he could be hitting as high as 3 1/2"...
Hello all,
The most recent data on the performance of my new bullets can be seen under the "HOGS" heading.
I have a gunsmith in Texas that is presently load developing using my 25 cal 101gr EXP bullet. He is loading a 25 STW (wildcat) and is looking to obtain 4000 plus feet per second with...
Hello all,
The group hog hunt I was on last weekend in Texas was a roaring success. There were 13 hunters and we killed 19 hogs. We hunted Friday and Saturday evening. We went out about 2 hours before sunset and stayed out till 2am.
Five of the hogs were killed using my new bullets.
I...
Oscar,
When we went last January it was just 2 of us. The 16 are going in 2 weeks. The ranch is right around 3200 acres. I leave a week from tomorrow. I hunt a small private ranch for 4 days then hook up with the other 15 people and we all hunt Friday, Sat and Sunday (17th, 18th and 19th)...
Schmalts,
Sounds like a good time, for sure.
I hog hunted for the first time last January and I loved it. No worries about trophys or anything of that sort. See one, kill it, simple
I got a group rate for 16 of us, $379.00 per person. That includes a semi-guided hunt, all meals, lodging...
JB,
First thing you need are ELK. Like Moosie said: It may sound funny, but its true.
I went on my first elk hunt last fall and I never saw any elk until the last day. I understand the, thats hunting part, but be sure you know where the animals are otherwise your wasting your time - if your...
