A little thing I whipped up in ArcMap. This is where I've been hunting the last few years and where I'll be again this year. Maybe Moosie will give a hat or something to the first person to identify this spot???

Baca Ranch (Valles Caldera) in NM

What tent to buy?

Blue, Since you live in Denver, as do I, you might also want to check out Davis Tent and Awning. Don't know if they are any better or worse than all the other suggestions, but they have done alright by me. They are also big supporters of the RMEF, which is a plus in my book. Good luck with...

How would you "grade" your State?

I do not think the Colorado DOW's recent efforts have necessarily been to shift from quantity to quality. I might agree to quantity AND quality, but only quality from the standpoint of reducing crowding by spreading the hunters out. They are trying to sell more elk tags now more than ever. It...

Wyoming Deer/Antelope draw is out !!

I finally got one! Drew my buck antelope tag. Didn't get my doe/fawn tags, though. But the buck is what I really wanted. So, the first hurdle in finally putting a goat on the wall has been passed. Next, I've got to find a good one.... then I've got to make a good shot....

WY reduction in antelope tags???

Apparently, there was an article in Sunday's Denver newspaper that stated Wyoming is reducing the number of antelope tags available by 6,000. Now I'm even more anxious about the upcoming drawing!

A Kiote is going to Colorado!

Good for you, Kiote. After this year's draw, I now have 4 pref. points for antelope in Colorado. What does that say about my drawing success?
