How close.....is too close??

Well I haven't been bitten yet But one time I had my shirt pocket ripped completely of by a bear,(I think he wanted my Camels) One other time the hounds had a bear in a cave.All you could see of the dogs was two tails.I got the hunter ready to shoot grabbed the two tails and pulled the dogs...

DKO I am not a archer But I have guided menny.I think there some of the best sportsman going.I think you should have taken that shot!!! Black bear don't die any harder than a deer,If you get a hole in their Boiler room there yours.You do need a looking away shot they will Jump a string quicker...

why do you hunt with dogs!? THIS IS NOT A FLAME!

Looks like we all agree on this one.I have always said Its like watching your son hit a home run in little leage.And when I snap a leach on the dogs at a tree and praise them it don't matter if anyone pules the trigger or knot.My hunt is compleat ------------------ We having fun yet//Tobey

George We estimate most of them and I bet we are within 10#The big ones 300+ we ether go get the scales and blocks or come back later and way the carcus.We way all our bait shot bears and before doing it we estamate.No one will bet against us LOL I am usually a little high and David a little low...
