Like mentioned above if you can hold out, November on the river is amazing with the number of rams that come down to rut. We had the 680 tag in 2015 and did alot of spotting in 482 also. We floated with a basic 14' Jon row boat with 10 HP for speeding up those slow current stretches and a raft...- wapiti11

X bolt trigger.
Timney triggers are in the works. I was told this upcoming shot show for release, can't wait. For now I removed the red tread locker and worked the screw in and out and seemed to "work" the spring a little. just under 3 pounds now. -

Cow Elk to 350 yards- which bullet to use.....
I shoot the Winchester loaded 140 ct accubonds. They do have the lubalox coating (black colored bullet). Not sure if there is any advantage with the lubalox, but my Browning xbolt western hunter .270 shoots just under .5 three shot groups if I do my part. I am very happy with them, but really... -

Congrats. My Dad drew that tag last year, after 42 year of applying, max points. We had a blast. Floated from the Ferry to the bridge our first trip, camping along the way.
