    Back from Wyoming!!! SUCCESS!!!!

Thanks guys the deer was kind of a fluke, we had been chasing this group of goats around all day, one of the bucks was really nice. Unfortunately, once they were buggered we couldnt get within 1/2 mile without them taking off. So we probably walked 10 miles the first day and as it was getting...

    Supplements?

LOL - yea booze will get you. Now mind you I am not much of a quitter so I do partake in kicking back a few brews now and again, but I don't drink weekdays anymore and limit myself to only 2 max. Amazing how much of a lightweight I have become with holding my booze. Pretty sad actually...

    Supplements?

Oh and what the other guys said about supplements. You'll get what you need out of the food you eat - just eat clean - Lean meats and lots of veggies. Multi Vitamin not a bad idea - but I wouldn't go crazy with other stuff.

    Supplements?

Hooligan - just a heads up - I have been doing Crossfit for 4 months. It's a butt kicker for sure but you'll get out of it what you put into it. After the wod will need to sit / lay / fall down for a few minutes. Like I said earlier - I started 4 months ago with the intention of loosing that...

    Mystery Ranch Crew Cab

I am a 34 and got the medium belt - in retrospect I wish I got the small - plenty of room for more clothes on the medium but if I shed any weight while hunting for a week it will probably be loose.

    Crewcab vs. Bighorn

Awesome pics Oak - cant wait to get to AK - I am going after Mountain Goat and Brown Bear. Hopefully a cool hunt if I don't fall off a cliff! On the packs - I pulled the trigger yesterday on a crew cab, and will pick up that 6500 once I get closer to MT Elk in 2013 or if I draw or Goat/Brown...

    Crewcab vs. Bighorn

Oak - that is a knee buster for sure. I already started getting ready for the Chugach Mountains and I can only hope I have enough success to load up a pack with as much weight. Dink thanks for the insight - so I guess loading the crewcab so it's a bit top heavy would be the way to go...

    Crewcab vs. Bighorn

I was thinking the crew cab then if I needed to pack more stuff, jam a waterproof dry bag in the center if I needed more stuff. I agree that I may need to pick up a 6500 for the trips to AK - if my wife only knew what I spent on hunting :)

    Crewcab vs. Bighorn

Whats up guys, so I am torn between the Big Horn, Crew Cab and Long Bow. I like the versatility of the frame packs so I am leaning that way but here is my snafu. 90% of my hunting is done here in the north east where I will be chasing whitetail so i will generally need only a day pack.
