ID- Unit 32 Bear
Talltimber did you draw the 32 or 32a? Apparently, ID spit the tag and much of the info I am getting is from 32a.. Which I did not draw (I drew 32). If you drew the same unit and if I go earlier in the season, ill let you know how it goes.. !- gjensen

Any Opinions on a Spring Black Bear Hunt?
I am no expert. But if you could fly to Oregon they had a discount on tags (at least last year) and have a healthy population- gjensen

How was this hunt? I drew 32 this year and was thinking of heading up early to mid May? It looms like the 32 country is very open? Did you see many bears???- gjensen

Today the spring bear draw results came out and apparently I drew the 32 bear tag! Any advise is greatly appreciated. In the areas I have recently hunted, I am no bear magnet and have not seen many. I have a few on trail camera (not from this area), but have not spotted them while deer / elk...- gjensen

WY Pref Point Disappointment
I have 11 DEER points and have applied the last few years to unit 89 regular. I am thinking 141 regular (to force a draw) or 87 special (and most likely get killed by point creep)..... ? I don't know! The point creep is flustering when you make the tag apart of your hunting schedule. There... -

I plan to hunt unit 50 in the next week for deer. I am going in blind. how have you done in the past? I have mostly stuck with Colorado the last few years and am going to try something different. -

I am not for hiring a guide, but in this case I would hire a guide. Clay Bundy outfitters seems to know what is up. I have heard him on many of podcasts and they live among the deer in the unit -
80" Buck? Destroy My Field Judging
They are sure hard to judge! Some hay-hook back and some heart shape down! I like the prongs on this one and the mass is equal to eye width. I think mass is king for pronghorn. I was guessing 78” for this one... Just eye-balling it tho! This photo was taken early June so he is probably bigger... -

I called a biologist for my unit. He was super helpful. When I went scouting, the area exceeded my expectations. I am sure you will do great! I am not looking for score rather, ”You know if when you see it.” hopefully you get a big or ugly one!!! -

ID Unit 23 (McCall) Advice
I archery hunted unit 23 in 2017 and heard bulls bugle every day. Got into them just about every day. Heard several wolves howl too. Saw very few deer (1 for doe and 1 fork)... I would say hunt away from people because I only saw a few people unit I went to leave... Then I sure saw quite a few...
