Nice Buck! I Would take it! This will be my first Kansas hunt. Cowley County. No idea what to expect. Will be hunting on a friends farm which he just purchased. Photos/maps show lots of trees and creeks. Buddy and I are driving out next Friday from NC to scout, hang stands, cams etc...
You choose the effective date of 2/11/2020 and it will expire 2/10/21. Not sure about leap year but it should be for 1 full year. I did this last year and it works. There have been a couple of years where they extend the application season has not affected using 1 license for 2 years.
I hate the point game. Would much rather hunt an OTC unit in Co or Idaho. The odds are just getting worse for draws even those states w out point systems. Saying that, I am 5-10 years in on most states w points. I have also noticed more and more people and now flocking to the OTC units. The...
Well the elk, sheep, and mule deer are much better in NV/Utah than what I can hunt here in NC.
I am already applying for all other western states except Montana.
The card I used for the application was hacked somewhere in Asia after I applied. Then same card co issued me a new card. I read where the refund will go to my new card. Anyone had this issue before?
I have always avoided NV and Utah because of the odds. I have been applying for Wy, Co, Az and will prob jump in on NV as I did w Utah. I know the odds are slim but want to have somewhere to hunt in 20 years. My first 10 years of elk hunting were OTC w/o any issues but in the last couple of...
I am building elk, deer, antelope points in AZ, Wy and Co. I have always hunting OTC but those units are getting over run more and more. Just looking to add to my list options if I feel that it’s worth it. All opinions are greatly appreciated!!
I am sure thing will change regarding points. As Randy has stated, rules were made to favor the old farts. Eventually there will be new rule makers and they will most likely be years behind in the point totals. I am sure they will do something to favor themselves.
I am retirement planning. I am 42 and should be able to retire at 59. I am thinking about starting to apply for all species in UT or NV. I understand the bonus points, draw process, and cost for both states even the 1 license for 2 years in Utah.
My question is based on cost, point creep, and...
I have looked at it but w 2 small kids at home there is no way I would ever be able to do it. Hard enough to get motivated to work out as it is. I need some to push me to and during a workout. I do crossfit during lunch which is next to my office. Works great since it doesn’t interrupt family...
Please check my math.
$80 license + $10 stamp + $27 application fees for deer/lope/elk = $117 ??
Wyoming is around $125 for the 3.
I normally just by Elk and Deer for Col but now might as well pay the extra $9 for the antelope point.
