Dawn in the dove field. Excellent opening morning hunt, we had 36 hunters this year and killed 394 birds. I got called away for a minor family emergency and didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the midday feed and all the kiddos. The future of hunting is bright here. If anyone ever...
Started with a ‘77 Ford f250 2wd with a 400 small block. Got 6 mpg loaded or empty, headwind or tailwind. Had to put an auxiliary tank on as the 17 gal factory tank wasn’t enough. Currently driving this.
I cut up some fresh jalapenos for a southwestern chicken dish I was making. After everything was done and enjoying a beer I needed to scratch like a man sometimes will. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Always remember to wash your hands, good hygeine has it’s benefits.

Good for him! I put a red dot on my SBE2 this year for turkeys, took 9 shots with 3-1/2“ 2 oz. turkey loads to get it sighted. I may have developed a flinch…ouch!😫
Youth season opens tomorrow morning here. Cold front just went through, supposed to be 33 with 20mph winds at daylight. Guess we’ll sneak in early to an historical roost tree and hope they fly down to us. My 12 year old won’t last long with the weather.
I love pellet grills, I have two. But my buddies rotisserie smoker gives much better flavor IMO. It’s commercial size, so too expensive. You put one bag of charcoal, and chunks of your preferred wood, light it on one end and it will hold temp for an average of 18 hrs.
Night before the opener at deer camp, homemade wild game stew and biscuits, with fried deer backstrap for appetizers. If anyone remembered to save some backstrap.
