Hmmm, where's my tag then? I'm a diy hunter. Applied this year and didn't get drawn. First time not drawing in a few years. Used to be a resident for 8 years but now NR. So if you're rich and can afford an outfitter you get a tag, but the normal blue collar guy can't. What a bunch of BS!
A "Taker"? Not every NR notches their tag. What's the success rate? Those that go home with unused tags "take" nothing. Just another statement trying to divide R's and NR's to fatten your own wallet. Pretty sickening!
I have that same rifle in a 22-250. Very nice, very accurate, you'll like it. I have a VX- 2 on it, 3x9x40. Killed coyotes out to 440 yards. Also have a Leopold Freedom 3x9x40 on an AR-15. Very nice bright scope.
There's capitalism and there's greed. When is enough, enough? Something about empty ammo shelves doesn't sit too well. Is this how we want to live? Can't even go to your local store and buy a box of shells anymore? To whoever is doing the buying to resell and make a buck, stop it! Go find...
I'm the guy with 13 points and I've been hunting Montana since the 80's. Used to live in Boulder, Townsend and Roundup. Have relatives all over the state. But now I'm one of those dam NR's.
I used to live in Boulder. Graduated high school there in 83. My uncle and I built the addition on the Mountain Good back then. Does Barry still run the place? Best clam chowder soup I've ever had!
