BKhunter, I've heard people ask this before. If someone tells you that the tenders are wasted they do not know what they're doing. It's very easy to go in behind the last rib, or cut it out of the way, and get the tender loins.
To the OP, You're completely missing the point he is trying to make. Public land, boots, maps, resource utilization and the ability as well as willingness to push harder than the average hunter. He is handing the viewers the tools to do exactly what he is doing.
Go to YouTube, type in Randy Newberg, watch every video. Then you'll have some great ideas. Deer hunting is easy and affordable to get into as a non-res. Moose on the other hand, good luck in the draw!
I love that he was dumb enough to hang himself. I really hope they make an example out of this guy. Stiff fines and a decade of no hunting license, backed up by the compact, would be a good minimum.
Feathers, tracks, poop and of course, gobbling.

Do you have chrome wheels? I've heard of burds doing this to their own reflection. I love the color on that bird. Most of what I hunt look like mutts. He's gorgeous.
Andy,
Your putting too much worry into the processing and packing of the deer you may shoot. A mule deer split between 2 guys, bone in or out, is not a tough pack, you'll be fine!
Everything you need to know is in this thread. Boots are important, so are socks. I'd highly suggest at least...
Depends on the state's regulations. In MT it is not required to take the rib meat. If you like elk burger like my family does, you'll be taking every last piece!
You don't know what your doing if you leave the tenderloins, or inside tenders. Anyone who tells you that the tenders are left behind was either lied to , hasn't actually done it, or has no clue how to do it correctly. It takes about a minute or less to get the inside tenders if you don't cut...
