Thanks for the story and pictures! As a holder of no great tags (besides the endless options of the general units I'm thankful for) and very unproductive cameras this summer, I'm enjoying following along.
This is a pretty ignorant mind set. What does their occupation have to do with their right to fairly draw a tag? The threads about "unfair" draws, "fishy" draws and "rigged" draws are getting so old. Not to mention all the new theories guys come up with to increase their chance of drawing...
I was as excited as many others to follow along on this journey with you. I hope your feeling great come September! You seem to have quite the network of friends and family so I'm sure you'll still be getting some solid updates!! If you need more help, shoot me a pm. I don't live to far from you!
They have done a lot for ducks, that can't be denied. The more I learn, the individuals involved seem very self serving, and want to create personal hunting sanctuaries. I'm not impressed with most representatives I meet from that organization.
I thought that at first.
Great buck no doubt, but looks a lot bigger in the hero shot than it does on the wall.
That mass all the way to the tips! Great looking buck!
I've never hunted that particular unit, but I am a big fan of hunting any weekend besides opening weekend! Opening weekend for Antelope in MT can be complete **** show!
