I primarily used guns international, same principle. With your low volume to sell, your fee will be next to nothing. It's the best way to sell a gun but will need to ship to ffl.
You can drop $30-40 on a cheap collapsible foam that flakes and creases or spend $80 on the LCD that looks way better and will hold up way longer. Buy quality, buy once.
Magna porting will help with muzzle lift but you essentially lose barrel length when doing it. A brake will reduce felt recoil better and you can thread it on and off. Both have overlapping qualities, audible increase being the biggest. Perhaps mercury plugs in the stock are an option, generally...
The genesis is a simple setup, but for the same price range you can get say a diamond atomic. Perhaps even cheaper for a used one. But perhaps simplicity wins out with the genesis. Even I have fun shooting them.
I understand exactly where you're coming from. While I know longer tech for a living, I find it to be a lot of fun. If you're ever interested, you can come by and we can talk bow wrenching. I'll show you some cool tools that make tuning a lot easier, especially when you work alone. I'll give you...
You will never get the experience you need to open a shop unless you have worked as a tech in a shop. That's just the way it is. I have ran more archery shops then most people have been in. The options for bow work are poor in this community, I say this because I know them all quite well. That...
I've got the Alaskan guide 6 man, have used it for years. It's easy to set up. During the summer I don't use the fly and open up the windows so it stays pretty cool, as far as tents in the summer goes. I use the fly a lot during bow season to make a shelter. You can get 2 full size cots in it or...
I wouldn't give it up that easy. While deer numbers are down, if you put in some time and are realistic about your expectations you'll still have a good time. Just understand that you are likely to see less then 20 deer a day and a 120 buck might be your shooter. You've gotta really work for the...
I think you're on the right track. Having a lot of personal experience with these setups, I recommend a 5 pin. The adjustable sight will allow for distance but keep it simple for almost all of your shooting. My bottom pins are green as they show up better than red in bright light.
Birchwood Casey makes aluminum black which works ok. Wheeler engineering makes a creams coat spray on that will work. But your best bet is to have it anodized. Either way, you'll probably need to have it bead blasted and really clean to get a consistant coat.
I wouldn't cut the original wood, take it off a put a synthetic on. You can get them in various lop and various colors and qualities. Bell and Carlson are good, perhaps a hogue overmold. Neither of those will break the bank. Perhaps you find a style that will work and she can help pick out a...
I'm a hoyt guy, but bowtechs are nice. The pse pro series has some nice rigs as does the elite line. I just started a new rig with the hoyt faktor, awesome cam.
