IDFG has shifted a lot of extra antlerless elk tags to landowner permission extra antlerless elk tags. This kind of prohibits the general public from obtaining these tags and promotes a more of "who you know" basis. It may help aid some of the farmers and prevents some of the reported...
Was the big 3 any faster than last year? I know they got rid of the mail in applications this year. I am curious for elk/deer drawings which close on 6/5/19.
Good luck using the new web interface to apply for tags. I ran into a couple of issues with it and the IDFG quickly fixed the issues. If there are any errors I highly encourage applicants to contact IDFG so they can be patched. Good luck!!!!
I am wondering if anyone can give me insight to when the elk start going from the wintering grounds back to the summer grounds. I am looking to start scouting unit 22, 32 and 32a. Thank and cheers!
I have hunted unit 22 last year for the A tag (cow). I have put on the miles this summer trying to put in the homework, but it appears there aren't a whole lot of elk on public ground. I am wondering if anyone else that has hunted the unit can confirm this or point me in the right direction.
